Description:

This male was flaunting its color in an apple tree (Rosaceae sp.). As I looked away to photograph a Tennessee Warbler, this individual flew away and returned, flying overhead with a female in close pursuit.

Habitat:

Mixed deciduous/coniferous habitat with many small creeks and ponds.
