Bout the posture it looks truly like Crambidae but I have no idea is there is any so kitschy in that genus.....

I have been trying to identify the family to which this moth belongs. Based on its posture and large, close-set eyes, it seems to be in the family Crambidae. Any other suggestions welcome.

I believe it is the family Lasiocampidae, based on similar species I found on bugguide.net
