White Costa Rican moth with interesting pose. Possibly a crambid?
Open area in wet montane forest. Attracted to lights.
try Lymantriidae ...
Bout the posture it looks truly like Crambidae but I have no idea is there is any so kitschy in that genus.....
I have been trying to identify the family to which this moth belongs. Based on its posture and large, close-set eyes, it seems to be in the family Crambidae. Any other suggestions welcome.
beautiful hairy legs ;)
I believe it is the family Lasiocampidae, based on similar species I found on bugguide.net
