Madeira Wall Lizard

Lacerta dugesii

Description:

Spotted on a sunny day, it was laying steady on the top of a wall. Measuring approximately 10cm, this endemic lizard of Madeira Archipelago is very easily spotted pretty much around all the Island.

Habitat:

Found in the urban area of the city of Funchal, near a small creek.

Notes:
