Description:

Black at each end w/ reddish-brown colored band. Stiff spiky hairs covering body and black face. Becomes the Isabella Tiger Moth after metamorphosis in spring.

Habitat:

Under bark or in deep rock crevices. Found under bark by a pond at a local park.
