Phaethon aethereus
The red-billed tropicbird, also known as the boatswain bird is a tropicbird, one of three closely related seabirds of tropical oceans. Juveniles usually have brown markings on the body, as well as a much shorter tail. One parents will stay with the juvenile on the nest, while the other forages for food which is often attacked by Frigatebirds in the area.
The rock cliff shows an adult on the nest after returning from a flight lesson with its juvenile offspring.
