Grey Wolf

Canis lupus

Description:

Grey, black, or combination of these colors. Large, dog-like looking.

Habitat:

Mountainous ranges, foothills

Notes:

This pack of 4 is first pack I've ever seen in my life. I've been in and through Banff National Park hundreds of times in my lifetime and I've never seen these beautiful creatures together in a pack. I've only seen a couple individuals ever in my life. This pack was walking along highway on the "safe" side of the animal fence.
