Description:

An evergreen perennial with heart shaped leaves. Each plant has a single flower, usually hidden by the leaves. The flower is purple with 3 flaring points.

Habitat:

Mixed forest near a rocky lakeshore.

Notes:

Found along the trail beside Lindeman Lake.
