Bullfrog

Rana catesbeiana

Description:

This attractive but rapidly growing large bullfrog was living in my largest pond. Unfortunately, he began eating my fish and since I quite enjoy the fish and had taken pains to keep them safe from a neighborhood heron, I decided to evict this pond tenant. I took him to a creek leading into a very large neighborhood natural pond and hope that he is enjoying his new environment.

Habitat:

My yard and neighborhood creek
