Geopelia striata
Similar to other doves of the genus in the Australasia region. This small and slender species has a long, narrow tail. It is brownish-grey with black-and-white barring above while underneath they are lighter with black bars on the sides of the neck, breast and belly. And the face is blue-grey with bare blue skin around the eyes. They range from southern Thailand southward into Indonesia (Sumatra to Lombok). The "may also be native in the Philippines." They have been introduced elsewhere.
Observed in a tree festuned with orchids and other epiphytes on the Pura Batuan temple grounds, Gianyar, Bali.
