I can't remember when/where I found this on this trip, but the mud under it suggests it may have been near water.

Thank you guys! Since I've had both of you tell me, I'll change the ID. Not that I don't trust Jeff, but I like to have at least a few people give me the same idea on finds like this. Thanks :)

The shape suggests raccoon. A photo showing size and teeth would clinch the ID.
