I found so many of them in a special place :). They were everywhere flying around and eating not shy at all that's why I could make some photos. So thanks again for all the information girls :)
I was just getting round to posting mine so had just ID'd that one but its no way near as good a photo as Faredins as mine was hiding behind some stalks off grass then it flew off ha! I'm glad you put it up or else I would have given mine the wrong scientific name!
Strangalia maculata is old name, you were right, Debbie :D these are my favorite beetles...
Yes I noticed, I think strangalia is the old scientific name so better following Jopys suggestion on that bit :-)
