Description:

Small white flowers in a bunch on a large, tall tree. Found in the courtyard of my school.

Notes:

Native to China and Vietnam. Deciduous tree growing 15 to 20 meters tall. The white flowers are about 2 to 3 cm in diameter. The fruits are less than one cm in diameter. Pear wood is prized for making woodwind instruments.
