Cynoglossum alpestre
Perennial herbs, whole plant long white long-villose; stems to 55 cm tall, few branched, often branched near base. Leaves short-petiolate to sessile, oblanceolate to linear-lanceolate, 7-10 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, apex acute, base attenuate, margin entire, sometimes slightly undulate, cycle of calcified accessory cells 0-1. Cymes terminal and axillary, dense, ascending, ebracteate, mostly paired, on peduncles to 11 cm long; pedicels 1-2 mm long. Calyx 2.5-3 mm long in flower, 5 mm in fruit. Corolla blue, 5-6 mm long, ca. 5 mm in diam., tube 3-4 mm long; fornices reniform, emarginate. Stamens with filaments very short but distinct, anthers below fornices. Style ca. 1.5 mm long; stigma truncate. Nutlets ovoid, ca. 3 mm long, long-glochidiate.
Endemic in Taiwan. Often with other herbaceous plants in valleys above 2500m.
I really like this kind of little plant because of it's flower color.
