Euphorbia tithymaloides


A very strange plant with a shoe-like flower and very irregular branches. It looks as if it were made of plastic. This is the first time it is flowering and I took this pictures which are the first ones of the plant's flower.


Dry forest.

Notes: There is a very interesting paper about the use of this plant to make hidrocarbons (fuels simmilar to gasoline) :
