Phytomia errans
This is a Phytomia errans (Fabricius, 1787). Phytomia Guerin-Meneville 1833, is a genus of at least 15 species of hoverfly from the family Syrphidae, subfamily Eristalinae, tribe Eristalini, subtribe Eristalina, in the order Diptera found in tropical Africa and Asia. Because of their coloration, they are often mistaken for bees as they also feed on pollen but are harmless to humans.
Backyard garden, spotted on White Angel or Snowflake Flower (Wrightia antidysenterica).

I see. Never imagined it would be in the hoverfly family but rather a bot fly or something else.
