Yarrow

Achillea millefolium

Description:

Here's another weed in my lawn that I have no clue about. It takes up a big 4 ft. square of my yard. It looks fern-like to me.

This looks an awful lot like the yarrow I grow. My guess is that they get constantly mowed down so you never get to see how tall they grow and the flowering bloom? If that is correct (that they never get to grow very tall), then my best guess is that you have yarrow. It's a wonderful natural healing plant. Try letting it grow out. It has a beautiful flower, too! Enjoy!
