Description:

Seabird.
Related to Auk and Puffins. Breeding plumage black with white patch with black bar on back of wings. Head and bill look almost like a gull. Legs sit back so it stands like a penguin. Feet are a reddish-orange. Prefers to feed in shallow water.

Habitat:

Rocky coastlines.

Notes:

How about a Pigeon Guillemot, looks very similar and is common in that area.
