This series of photos shows how fawns gambol (one of those words we don’t use often but it is fitting for their behavior here). The adult deer were joining in as they exuberantly jumped and ran around the yard.

Thanks, Manith123. I think the deer feel pretty safe in my yard so they can let down their guard a bit and enjoy themselves.
