Thanks both.. I replaced "volva" with "ring".. It's visible .. Not so sure of either of your IDs..G-roseus is red as a rose.. This was light pink to beige..theSuillus was more close but I'm not sure which..

Did this have pores or gills? I'm thinking maybe a Suillus species.

Also what do you mean 'with a volva', because I don't think I see one.

maybe it could be a Gomphidius species; it has similarities to Gomphidius roseus but I guess it's probably something else
