Me and my grandfather were organizing the yard and we found this cocoon in a vase.

Habitat:

I found this cocoon in a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.

Anthelidae ? - the caterpillars use their own (stinging) hairs when making the cocoon. Look for pale yellow hairy caterpillars.
