Cosmosoma auge
Me and my grandfather were organizing the yard and we found this cocoon in a vase.
I found this cocoon in a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.
Anthelidae ? - the caterpillars use their own (stinging) hairs when making the cocoon. Look for pale yellow hairy caterpillars.
Leonardo, You are lucky to have such a souvenir from Mother Nature. :))

"ceejayalyssa", it's some cocoon of some Moth.
"Ava T-B" and "ChiefRedEarth", thanks! ;)
