Northwestern Crow

Corvus caurinus

Description:

I met this juvenile Northwestern Crow on the beach in Barnet Marine Park, in Burnaby, Canada. I spent quite a while accustoming the small family of crows to my presence & camera and was rewarded when he perched next to me... and proceeded to ask for food, of course!

Habitat:

I observed these crows foraging in the sand and cobbles at the water's edge, and on floats out in the water.
