blue bird eggs

Sialia sialis

Description:

The first 4 flew away already and the second crop are soon to hatch. I have had Peterson houses and bluebirds for about 18 years. There are usually 2 successful nests, but not always. Additional houses have tree swallows and house wrens. I never get 2 separate pairs of bluebirds even though there is enough room and houses.
