Description:

Bell-shaped hibiscus-type flower in a pleasing shade of peachy-pink. Leaves were variegated.

Habitat:

Ornamental. Growing in the garden of King's Cliff Hotel.

Notes:

Ooty is a tourist destination in the Nilgiri hills of India. Many flowers that grow wild are also cared for and add to the landscaped beauty and (vice versa) ..many garden plants run away and thrive in the wild. Also known as :Redvein Abutilon, Redvein Flowering Maple, or Red vein Chinese lanterns
