Description:

Interesting thing I learnt today is that these are actually arthropodes - I always considered them some sort of molluscs. Light whitish-greyish in colour, grow in large colonies, competing for place on rocks with limpets.

Habitat:

Large colonies tightly attached to rocks in intertidal area, on shores of Atlantic ocean, northern Brittany, France.
