Tear Shrub

Vallesia antillana

Family: Apocynaceae. Attrachive large shrub with dainty whorled flowers. I didn't notice any fragrance from them however and it didn't appear to have any of the white fruit from which it gets its name. Native from the tip of Florida to the Caribbean and the Yucatan Peninsula.

Tropical Hardwood Hammock
