Wild Hog

Sus scrofa

Description:

These guys just ran across the road, I didn't have time to get the parents photographed, just caught the last of the young that were following. They were all brown all over, but can be quite variable in color.

Habitat:

Ran across the road in an oak forest. They are from Eurasia originally and were brought over for hunting long ago and have established themselves regardless of the many attempts to get rid of them.

Well I was out planning to see wildlife so my camera was sitting next to me. Luckily there were lots of babies following mom and dad so I was able to get ready and get pictures of the last few :)
