This hummingbird seems to live in my yard, frequenting my aloes, Baja fairy duster, and feasting on small gnats. I am guessing that it is an Anna's hummingbird but I am not quite sure
Semi rural neighborhood.
Thank you! This little one is pretty bold... let me take the picture from about three feet away, then flew up & checked out my camera (too close to focus on, unfortunately!).
