Setophaga virens
Black-throated Green Warblers have a white breast with a black bib and streaking on the sides, with a yellow face. The female in the last picture is the same, but with a much smaller black bib and less streaking.
The birds are filling up on caterpillars during their northward migration.

That is one drawback of getting them curious and in close, they can move around very quickly. I think some of these migrating birds get curious and come in, but they're still fueling up and start feeding even though I'm not too far away.
I can tell! I tried pishing today, and it just made them come closer but go into hyper speed or something because they would not sit still for half a second, was incredibly frustrating! I just can't get over how amazing your blackburnian photo is, I really really love it!
Ashley, I've been having good luck pishing. Some of the warblers come in to investigate and present themselves nicely before flying off into the trees. Sometimes it works the opposite, they all fly away:-)
How do you get all these warblers to cooperate so well for you?? Let me upload some of my "fantastic" warbler shots from today to show you how awesome these birds were for me ;)
