Description:

Cap eccentric on an angled stalk. Approximately 4 cm in diameter. Kidney-shaped. Cap brown with bloom and orange margin, some concentric grooving, top smooth, slightly convex Pore surface white, glossy, becoming brown with age; straight-to-convex pore surface; woody texture; Pores circular-to-angular with rounded edge; 3-5/mm.

Habitat:

Growing from submerged roots of deciduous tree in a mixed deciduous/pine woods.
