Description:

Small butterfly, colored as shown on the underside of the wings.

Habitat:

Hundreds of these were nectaring on chokecherry and lilac flowers along a hedgerow that also included cedar trees, the larval host plant. The windbreak bordered a vast open field adjacent to an artificial reservoir.
