Description:

Form a long-lived soil seed bank that can germinate when the soil is disturbed. Is 17cm tall. The flowers are large and showy, 5 to 10cm across, with four petals that are vivid red, most commonly with a black spot at their base.

Habitat:

Can be found in arable fields, open habitats, and in spots with a good captation of light.
