You're so right about the name. It's also called 'dog vomit' which is even worse - I don't know what some people must feed their dogs ?!! You have found it in perfect condition - very lucky. 2 days it will probably be gone. The first one I found only lasted 6 hours. There might be a brown crust remaining. A fascinating life form - not related to plants, animals or fungi... something very different. It feeds only on bacteria. Great spotting!

That's better. This slime mold will not last long - maybe one day. If you can check again it will look a very different picture.

Hi Faredin.. this looks like a 'slime mold' maybe like Fuligo septica. Did you try to make the second one again?

yes, it has really strong yellow color. Have you had problems with uploading photos today? My photos get destroyed like the second photo here.
