Description:

Long 1st dorsal fin spines, steep blunt head, whitish with 3-4 brown bars on head and body; black occelated spots on foreback, mid and rear dorsal fin. Juveniles mimic drifting plant debris.

Habitat:

Shallow reefs, sandy areas near reefs.

Notes:

They can dig themselves into sands to hide themselves.
