Iberian Wall Lizard

Podarcis hispanica

Description:

is a small wall lizard species of the genus Podarcis averaging 50–70 mm adult snout-vent length (SVL).

Habitat:

It is found in the Iberian peninsula, in northwestern Africa and in coastal districts in Languedoc-Roussillon in France. This species is generally found in climbing over rocks, in overgrown areas, on stone walls, on rock outcrops in alpine meadows, in bushy vegetation and in rural buildings.
