Eastern Screech Owl

Megascops asio

Description:

A small over that is streaked all over. This is the gray phase, and this is the daddy. Here's mom :) http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/324...

Habitat:

In a residential neighborhood with lots of oak and pine trees. A friend told me he had a red and gray owl couple nesting in his yard, so I went to see them and they cooperated nicely for me :)
