Description:

Rhinella marina (Linnaeus, 1758), formerly Bufo marinus, of family Bufonidae, called the Cane Toad, Giant Neotropical Toad, Marine Toad, Giant Toad, Giant Marine Toad, is a large, terrestrial true toad which is native to Central and South America, but has been introduced to various islands throughout Oceania and the Caribbean. It has been called one of the 100 worst invasive species worldwide by the Invasive Species Specialist Group. It is listed as Least Concern in view of its wide distribution, tolerance of a broad range of habitats, and presumed large population.

Habitat:

Garden of a swimming resort at a sub-urban neighborhood in Calamba Laguna.
