Daphnis nerii
Newly-eclosed Oleander Hawk Moths, Daphnis nerii (Linnaeus, 1758), with wings not yet open. After the last photo was taken, it still took 10 minutes more to spread its wings. Still, I failed again to record the actual eclosion :(
Backyard, reared inside the garage.
