Description:

Agaric mushrooms. Leathery caps, some flat and others quite twisted. Mostly tan-brown in colour, but some very pale whilst others are orange-yellow. Large exposed gills, mostly orange-yellow. Stipe pale, thin and scaley. Largest specimens approx. 5-6 cms in diameter. Cap shape and gills similar to some Lepista and Hygrocybe species mushrooms I have seen.

Habitat:

Fresh, moist garden mulch. Area in shade for most of the day. Several days of rain.
