Hyla versicolor/chrysoscelis
This beautiful young treefrog was very small, and found on a the leaf of a wetland plant.
Found at Irwin Prairie State Nature Preserve, which consisted mostly of wetland prairies.
Hyla versicolor and H. chrysoscelis are indistinguishable except by genetic analysis or calls. They are distinguishable by range in some areas, but generally not so.
