Northern Dwarf Tree Frog

Litoria bicolor

Description:

Small frog 2cms in length. Four frogs spotted in a two metre transect of grassland. This was a very exciting find for me as you don't find many frogs in the area (competition with cane toads etc.) They were basking in the early morning sunlight on the leaf blades of Urochloa maxima.

Habitat:

Grassland in a Clifton Beach park, QLD
