Flightless Cormorants

Description:

This is one of my favourite Galápagos videos (the images are snapshots from the video). This pair of Flightless Cormorants are wooing each other when one of them returns to its mate, presumably after going fishing. Note how the returnee is searching for a suitable present. The video was taken on Punta Espinoza, Fernandina Island, Galápagos. The bird on the nest is the same individual as shown in a spotting I uploaded earlier.
