I suspect this may be a Slider turtle (Trachemys sp.) of some kind. I am leaning towards a Yellow-bellied Slider, but I am having a difficult time finding one with such an interesting shell pattern. This does not appear to be a Box Turtle by the markings on the head and legs and the shape of the shell.
