Arborvitae Leafminer Moth

Argyresthia thuiella

Description:

Tiny moth with a somewhat tubular shape. Light coloration with some darker banding and darker at the margins of the wings, though not all of them had prominent banding. Long, thin antennae.

Habitat:

Suburban yard.

Notes:

I saw several of these little moths hanging on the screen doors of the house for a couple of days. There is a host plant in the front yard.
