Magnificent Frigatebird (Juvenile)

Fregata magnificens

Description:

The body is all dark with a white chest and head. It takes several years for the juveniles to reach adulthood, so I am not sure what sex this is. I believe it to be a female because I think I see a blue eye ring that only the females have, but I can't tell if the eye ring is really there or not.

Habitat:

Flying in the bay over the ferry to Galveston island.
