Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

Papilio glaucus

Description:

had the privilege to spot a tiger swallowtail late at night, when it's colors were more vibrant. swallowtails are named for their black tail-like streams at the end of their body, which is similar to that of a swallow's. they are mostly cream-colored except for a black outline on the wings, with orange and blue patches inside.
