Hoverfly

Allograpta javana

Description:

Most closely resembles the marmalade hoverfly, Episyrphus balteatus, but I'm not even sure E. balteatus is in Korea, and the stripes don't match, anyway. (Update: ID'd by Mark Ridgway.)

Habitat:

Around pollen-bearing flowers, grasslands, fields. This one was very attentive to a morning glory.

Notes:

I will edit/update the title if I or anyone else gets an ID for it. Edit: Thanks, Mark Ridgway! =}
