Green Cloverworm Moth

Hypena scabra

Description:

Smaller moth. Mostly pale grays and tans. Small tuft on back. Fluffy "nose". Gray area along side with a yellow stripe running through it. Pale green eyes. Variable coloration. Here is the first individual of this species I spotted, which is much darker: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/154...

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Found resting upside-down on the side of the house.

This is an incredibly light individual though it is H. scabra.
