Bongo

Tragelaphus eurycerus

Description:

Rust coloured fur with white stripes. Paired, straight horns.

Habitat:

This one was at Woburn Safari Park. A captive.

Notes:

I understand these are one of the rarest of antelopes and under threat. I had never seen a Bongo before and have not seen one since. Photographed through the window of the car.
