Least Bittern

Ixobrychus exilis

Description:

Tan body with a white neck and a dark cap on the head. Lifer for me!

Habitat:

Sitting in the tall grass in a marsh. He was swaying back and forth every time the wind blew. I saw several this morning, but this was the only one that stayed still for pictures.
