Description:

P. cerasifera is a tree with maroon leaves. Every spring, the tree produces five-petaled, light pink flowers that give rise to edible (tart) red-purple fruit. Each fruit is about the size of a golfball (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/11...).

Habitat:

Grows in a residential area.

Notes:

Introduced to the US from Europe and Western Asia.
